This policy describes how SlateSafe collects and uses information on slatesafe.com. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising networks or ad personalization on this site.

This website

slatesafe.com is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. Product browsing and the shopping cart run in your browser. Checkout and payment are processed by Stripe Payment Links (buy.stripe.com). Stripe is a processor of order, payment, and shipping information for purchases made through this site.

Information we collect

Contact form

If you send a message, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. The form posts to Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com), which delivers the message to us. We do not use Formspree.

Purchases

When you check out, Stripe collects the information needed to process payment, shipping, and the order. That processing is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive order details from Stripe so we can fulfill the purchase.

Analytics (only after you accept cookies)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1XB9ZLWTV0) to understand how the site is used. GA4 may collect:

Pages you visit and time spent on each page
How you arrived at the site
Approximate location (country and city)
Device and browser information
Store events such as product views, add to cart, and checkout started

We configure GA4 to anonymize IP addresses, disable Google Signals, and disable ad personalization. Analytics is not loaded if you click Reject, or if you have not made a choice yet. Events that happen before you Accept are not stored or sent later. If you Accept and later click Reject, we stop sending analytics events.

Google’s use of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and partner-sites terms. You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies and local storage

A cookie consent banner appears until you Accept or Reject. Your choice is stored in the browser (local storage key slatesafe_cookie_consent) for 365 days.

Accept: Google Analytics 4 loads with the settings above.
Reject: Google Analytics 4 is not loaded. If it was already loaded, we stop sending events.

The cart also uses browser storage so items stay in your cart while you shop. Checkout itself happens on Stripe Payment Links.

GitHub Pages — hosts this website
Web3Forms — processes contact-form submissions
Google Analytics 4 — site usage analytics, only after cookie consent
Stripe — checkout and payment (Stripe Payment Links)

Your Privacy Choices

We do not share analytics data with advertising partners for targeted ads. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off in our GA4 configuration, so this site does not run “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-site advertising.

To decline analytics cookies, click Reject on the cookie banner. This site does not currently read the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal; Reject on the banner is the opt-out that the site implements.
